About Shree Padmalaya Temple

"Padmalaya is a town in the Indian state of Maharashtra. It lies 10 km from Erandol and 31.5 km from the area central station of Jalgaon . 'Padmalaya', a portmanteau word mixing ""Padmasya"" and ""Alaya"", implies ""Home of Lotus"" in Sanskrit. The name is gotten from an extensive lotus lake that is accepted to have existed contiguous a neighborhood sanctuary devoted to Ganesha.

Different spots of enthusiasm for the town incorporates ""Bhim Kunda"", a curiously formed lake, and the Anjani stream - situated around 1 km from Padmalaya."

"Bhimkund
As indicated by legend, the warrior Bhim has a fight with Rakshas Bakasur and executes him. Bhim was parched after the battle so he hit his elbow mightily on the ground to shape a little lake of new water. The place is called Bhimkund and is close to the Padmalaya temple. Bhimkund is a lovely place with bunches of herbs and therapeutic plants around the region of Padmalaya Temple Store.

Pandav
The vanavas pandavs remained in Erandol (antiquated name was Ekchakranagari). They fabricated a royal residence with veneer. This is called Pandav wada and is accepted to have numerous mystery courses prompting adjacent timberlands. This Pandav wada was later scorched by kaurav to slaughter Pandavs. The remaining parts are in Erandol city."
