The symbol of this temple Varada Vinayak is a swayambu (self started) and was found in the connecting lake in a submerged position in 1690 AD. This temple is said to be worked in 1725AD by Subhedar Ramji Mahadev Biwalkar. The temple premises are on one side of a lovely lake. The icon of this temple confronts the east and has his trunk swung to one side. There is an oil light in this place of worship which is said to be consuming persistently since 1892. This temple additionally has the symbol of Mushika, Navagraha Devtas and Shivalinga. There are 4 elephant symbols guarding the 4 sides of the temple. "Legend has it that the childless ruler, Bhima of Koudinyapur and his significant other met the sage Vishwamitra while they had come to woodland for repentance. Vishwamitra gave the lord a mantra (incantataion) Ekashar Gajana Mantra to serenade and in this way his child and beneficiary, ruler Rukmaganda was conceived. Rukmaganda grew up into a delightful youthful sovereign. 

One day, on a chasing trip Rukmaganda halted at the isolation of Rishi Vachaknavi. The Rishi's better half, Mukunda, began to look all starry eyed at seeing the nice looking ruler and requesting that he satisfy her wants. The ethical ruler straight rejected and left the ashram. Mukunda turned out to be exceptionally lovesick. Knowing her predicament, King Indra appeared as Rukmaganda and had intercourse to her. Mukunda ended up plainly pregnant and brought forth a child Gritsamada."
