On hearing the answer, Muruga requested that Brahma discuss the writings from Vedas. Brahma began to discuss the content with the heavenly word called Pranav Mantra, "Om". Around then Muruga halted Brahma and solicited him to clarify the significance from the Pranava Mantra. Brahma did not expect such an inquiry from the kid and couldn't reply. Muruga thumped Brahma on his temple with his gripped clench hands and rebuffed him with detainment. Muruga took up the part of the maker. The Devas were amazed by the nonappearance of Brahma and they asked for Vishnu to consult with Muruga to discharge Brahma.
